COVID-19 Business Changes

Urgent Message

As our community responds to the challenges that COVID-19 has brought us, your Chamber and the City of Burlingame want to help our local business community. It is important that businesses let the public know how they will conduct business in the coming weeks.

Here is an excerpt from a recent City of Burlingame message:

“Section 10(f) of San Mateo County Health’s recent Order exempts Essential Businesses. The types of Essential Businesses listed range from hardware stores and banks, to hardware stores and drycleaners.

Please reach out to your respective business communities and let them know that I can include flyers (jpeg, pdf) to advertise their business or share details about how to place online orders, etc. for restaurant delivery and carry out Also, if a business that is not considered “Essential” per the Order would like to get creative or change their business model to deliver goods and products using mail service during this time, we would be happy to advertise that too.”

The Burlingame/SFO Chamber will help all members get their message out.

Here is what you need to do:

Send us your announcement or flyer and the Chamber will immediately post it to our website and send it to members by eBlast.
Your announcement or flyer will be sent to the City of Burlingame for inclusion in the City’s eNewsletter.
Send your information to: wwedgeworth@burlingamechamber.org

Until this crisis passes, the Chamber will do everything in our power to help our business community meet the challenges they face.
