About
The Burlingame Chamber of Commerce is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of 15 to 19 local business and professional leaders based on a cross section of Burlingame’s diverse business community.
Meetings
Board members meet on a monthly basis. The Chamber works collaboratively with the City and two members of the City Council also attend these meetings to exchange information and ideas.
Because of Burlingame’s many and diverse business segments, the Burlingame Chamber has some of the most prominent and experienced business leaders in the county serving on its board of directors.
Election Process
Based upon vacancies, directors are elected each year to serve three-year terms and installed at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting Luncheon. Chair positions are recommended by the Executive Committee and the slate of officers is elected by the Board of Directors. In addition, board members serve on committees which reflect the work of the Chamber’s Annual Goals Setting Session.
