The Fresh Market

The Fresh Market - Burlingame has become a favorite weekly Sunday morning destination for City dwellers. One of the few community owned and operated markets in the Bay Area, it is located on Park Road starting at Burlingame Avenue.

The weekly market runs every Sunday morning from May through December, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is a certified market featuring California growers who deliver seasonal produce and flowers, including many organic items. There are also retail stalls presenting local food products.

Operated by the Chamber of Commerce, the market is known to have musical entertainment, a balloon man for the children and local artisans. Vendors boast that it is their favorite market and that the residents of Burlingame are the best!

Due to the success of the Fresh Market, the Chamber opened a second seasonal market on Capuchino Avenue starting at Broadway in 2008. This Market runs every Wednesday from May through September 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Several Chamber members take advantage of “The Merchant at the Market” program, which allows local businesses to host their own booth. Chamber members are allowed one free booth space per season.
